LTE Constructs Custom-Made Trailer for Northern Water

Charged with delivering precious water resources to portions of eight counties in Northeastern Colorado, the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District (Northern Water) has reached out to LTE to provide support in establishing baseline water conditions prior to reservoir construction as part of the Northern Integrated Supply Project. The project is grand in scope, and LTE’s tasks include monthly water quality sampling from a 45-mile stretch of the Cache la Poudre River from Seaman Reservoir to the Cache la Poudre River’s confluence with the South Platte River. To ensure high-quality sampling and maintain compliance with Northern Water’s sampling plan, LTE constructed a custom-made, enclosed water sampling trailer to provide protection from the elements and create a clean environment in which to prepare sampling containers and collect and prepare water samples for transport and laboratory analysis. The trailer is one of the many tools used to provide reliable water quality data collection in an efficient manner. The trailer is transported to the various sampling sites across the project area and provides stakeholders with water quality data they can have confidence in.
